NASA Ames Space Settlement Design Contest 2013 Results


This year we received 592 submissions from 1,536 students taught by 168 teachers. Entries came from 20 countries: Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar, Romania, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the United States. U.S. entries were received from 15 states and territories: Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnestoa, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.

The Grand Prize for the 2013 Space Settlement Contest went to Robert G., Jonathan S., Reagan F., Zared S., Jackie L., Gabriel T., under the instruction of Jeffrey R. of Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida for creating Maui.
